Nestled in the rolling hills of western Uganda, Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem that sparkles with an abundance of wildlife and picturesque landscapes. Conveniently located 240 kilometers from Kampala, it covers an area of approximately 260 square kilometers.

This park is unique in the sense that it is the smallest among Uganda's savannah national parks. Despite that, it boasts a wealth of diverse ecosystems that integrate dry hillsides, bushy thickets, rocky outcrops, open and wooded savannas, forests, and lakes.

Lake Mburo National Park is a natural haven teeming with a variety of unique wildlife species. It is home to more than 350 bird species and 68 different types of mammals.
