  1

  Arrival - Volcanoes National Park

  Early morning arrival to Kigali airport where you will be welcomed by our guide at Africa Safariland Tours who will drive you around for a city tour in Kigali, have lunch in Kigali, and then later embark on your journey to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. Check into the Mountain Gorillas’ Nest Lodge and have dinner and rest.

  Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park

  Wake up to an early morning breakfast and meet up with your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters-king for a briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas from the park warden. Then you will be led to the forest to start trekking the mountain gorillas. Have a packed lunch with you. After trekking, go back to the Mountain Gorillas’ Nest lodge, relax, have dinner, and rest.

  3

  Transfer to Akagera National Park

  Have an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge, and transfer to Akagera National Park. You will have lunch along the way. On arrival at the park, enjoy en route game drive to introduce you to the beautiful scenery as you spot animals on your way to the lodge. Check-in at the lodge after meeting up with your guide to take you for an evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema. After going back to the Akagera Game Lodge, have to relax, have dinner, and rest.

  Transfer Back to Kigali City

  Early wake up for breakfast, then check out from the hotel and meet up with our guide for a morning game drive. Have a packed lunch as you drive through the park and after the game drive, drive back to Kigali and head back to the airport for departure.
